Dyslexia is a learning disorder characterized by difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words. Also called specific reading disability, dyslexia is a common learning disability in children.
It affects about 3% to 7% of people.While it is diagnosed more often in males, some believed it affects males and females equally. Up to 20% of the population may have some degree of symptoms. Dyslexia occurs in all areas of the world.
This confidential screening assessment will give a profile of learning strengths and weaknesses, including a measure of severity of symptoms.
